RADIO PLAY 

Using the alternate story mentioned at the end of the novel, our group has created a radio play. We have used the human characters -the chef, Pi's mother, and the sailor, in replacement of the animal characters because our group has found a parallel between the two stories presented in the novel. 

An Interpretation of Life of Pi 

A novel should consist of a story, but Life of Pi has two. 

 

There is the imaginative, greatly metaphorical story of the animals and Pi. And there is the story of "dry, yeastless factuality" with only human characters. Which story to believe? That is up to you...
